Like a Child Searching for Pebbles on the Seashores of Knowledge.
Today is my 33rd Birthday–32nd, officially, for my dad, thinking that I’ll live his dream of becoming a civil servant in Pakistan’s elite Civil Services (CSP), decided to give me a head-start by declaring my birthday a year later than what it actually was. The idea was that I might get an additional year to prepare for and take the competitive exams. That, of course, never happened but I did become an engineer to live another one of his dreams and then took an unusual turn for a career choice for a typical Pakistani engineer that took me to the exciting world of public policy.
I wanted to start of this introductory page with something extremely inspiring, deeply philosophical, and profound beyond my intellectual capabilities, like all great blogs do. I’ve been thinking hard about what to say but can’t come up with anything really insightful except this title quote that has been one of my favorite ones from none other than Sir. Isaac Newton. I will, though, as the time passes write more about myself, my passions, and my frustrations on this page. Please visit often, if you like.
Until I could make me do so, however, this blog would serve as a repository of my research, my writings, my projects, and my travels. I hope you’ll benefit from these and enjoy them.
